Current Opportunity: Experienced Accountant

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and experienced accountant to join our growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a background in accountancy practice who is looking to take the next step in their career.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an accountancy practice

  • A professional, detail-oriented, and proactive approach

  • Qualifications such as AAT, ACCA, or ACA (preferred but not essential with the right experience)

  • Audit experience is desirable

  • Strong working knowledge of accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, and CaseWare

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies

  • Assisting with audits

  • Preparing corporation tax computations

  • Producing management accounts and financial reports for client meetings

  • Reviewing VAT returns and maintaining accurate record-keeping

  • Handling day-to-day client queries and providing expert support

Job Details:

  • Full-time role (37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday) – flexible hours available

  • Location: Mansfield, Nottinghamshire

  • Salary: Competitive, based on experience
